Pet Description

Age. 1 Year Birthday. 5th April 2017 Breed. Mixed breed Appearance. Mimi is a small black and white long haired girl. Under all that fluff. she isn.. very big and weighs approximately 10kg. Mimi is spayed. fully vaccinated. micro.chipped and comes with a full pet passport. About Mimi. Mimi was originally rescued in Romania when she was just a small puppy. she has been in foster in the UK .Dereham. Norfolk. for the last month and has adjusted really well to family life. Although she is initially quiet and shy when meeting new people. once she realises she can trust them she soon adjusts. and I am confident she will settle quickly in her new home. Mimi is currently in foster with children aged 3 and 10. and she has been delightful with them. She is gentle and affectionate and seeks out their company for playtime. She has also been very good with the other resident dogs. and plays well with them. she is submissive and shares well. Mimi has spent some time in an enclosed field and loves to run and chase. The type of home needed. Mimi needs an active home. with people who will spend time continuing her training. She is very bright and keen to please and I think she would do very well with obedience and possibly agility training. Mimi would love to live with another dog to help continue to build her confidence and as a playmate. She has not met cats. but I suspect that with her keenness to chase she would not be suitable to live with them. Mimi is happy and affectionate with the children in her foster home but it is important that any children in her forever home are able to understand that she will need a little bit of time and space when she first arrives to get used to her new home. Mimi is house trained and completely clean in the house now. Her new owner will need to continue with lead training as this is still fairly new to her but she has made great progress so far. Full rescue back up and support will be provided.
