Rochdale Dog Rescue work with local stray dog kennels to raise awareness of the stray dogs and take in the dogs who are not claimed after their 7day stay in the kennels and who might otherwise face being put to sleep. This rescue organisation believes that all dogs should get a second chance for a new loving home after being abandoned, regardless of age, sex, breed etc.
The dogs who come into the rescue's care are assessed, neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. They receive veterinary treatment, they are wormed and flea treated before being rehomed, and the dog's new home is advised of any on-going treatment.
Rochdale Dog Rescue work with other organisations too, and help any dogs in put to sleep situations. All the dogs that come into their care also have the organisation's life-time support, and at any time dogs can come back to them should their owner's circumstances change.
This organisation is committed to helping dogs, so if you share their values get in touch today and find out how you can help. They would love to hear from you if you think you could adopt a dog!
