About Information

Greyhounds 4 U is a UK voluntary, independent organisation dedicated to rescuing and rehoming retired greyhounds. These are greyhounds that have finished racing or have declined to race. Greyhounds make wonderful and unique pets, yet often find themselves unwanted and without a home.

Greyhounds 4 U rehome UK and Irish ex-racing dogs as pets to people who live in the Southern Counties of England, including Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Worcestershire, Avon, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Berkshire, Middlesex, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex, Kent and the Isle of Wight.

Their priority is the long term care and wellbeing of retired race dogs and as such, every greyhound adoption is subject to a successful home check by Greyhounds 4 U, and once adopted they offer a full support and advice service post adoption.

"We are proud to be supported by Robert Alleyne, top canine behaviourist and known to many from the BBC’s programme Dog Borstal."

Greyhounds 4 U survive on independent donations and fundraising, so their team work hard organising events throughout the year. If you think you could support the organisation then get in touch.
In 2014, Greyhounds 4 U is celebrating fifteen years of finding excellent forever homes for ex-racing greyhounds. Help them continue their success by contacting them today.
