About Us

Gables Farm Dogs and Cats Home is a registered charity that has been helping Devon and Cornwall's dogs and cats since 1907! Our team at Support Adoption For Pets spoke with the long-running charity to find out about their amazing work -

"We enforce a strict non-euthanasia policy, which means no healthy animal in our care is put to sleep. Some dogs and cats stay with us for a long time but we never give up hope of finding them a new loving home no matter how much it costs! We rehome animals all over Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and the Isles of Scilly."

This caring attitude, whereby the animals come first, is no doubt the reason this charity has been so successful over the years. Gables Farm Dogs and Cats Home looks after around 1500 cats and dogs every year. Where possible they re-unite pets with their owners, and if this is not an option the home provides veterinary care and attention to the animal and begins work looking for a loving home for the cat or dog.
