About Us

Adopt A Boxer Scotland (AABS) is a registered charity (SC043843) that aims to rehome, support and help Boxer dogs.

Since launching in 2013, they have worked to help the boxer breed in Scotland through rehoming, education, information and supporting owners so they can keep their dogs.

The charity is operated and maintained by a group of volunteers who are passionate about and experienced with the boxer breed. AABS does not have a centre, the dogs either stay with their owners until a home is found or they are placed in foster homes.

Adopt A Boxer Scotland's aim is to minimise the number of boxers who require rehoming by providing information and advice on temperament, behavioral issues, health, cost and other factors. They believe that education and support are vital to building and maintaining a happy relationship between dogs and owners. By assisting the general public they hope to help them make the right choice for them, their families and the dog when considering buying a puppy or rescuing a boxer.

If you think you could give a Boxer a loving forever home, then contact AABS; or if you would like advice or support from AABS then don't hesitate to get in touch with them using the details on this page.
