Thinking of buying or adopting a Neapolitan Mastiff?

This dog breed is often referred to as the gentle giant. They’re a typical guard dog and spend most of their time protecting their loved ones. Their looks are deceiving, whilst they aim to protect this dog breed is not one for fighting.

If you consider yourself as a neat freak, then this may not be the right dog breed for you. Unlike other dog breeds, the Neo is prone to drooling and is one of the gassiest dog breeds of all. You’ll need plenty of cleaning wipes and air freshener to overcome this. If this doesn't faze you then the Neo is an especially amazing dog breed.

The Neo’s coat comes in a solid grey, mahogany, black or in brindle.

The Neo has a coat that comes in solid grey, black, mahogany, and tawny or in tan brindle, in which the dog appears dark with tan stripes. A Neo with a white spot on the head is disqualified from the show ring, but it doesn't affect his ability to be a companion or guardian.

This dog breed generally weighs in the region of 120 to 200 pounds and stands at 2 feet.
