Description

Provided by the seller

Shadow is a lovely, friendly family dog. He is well trained and is amazing and so patient with my 2 year old and my one year old. He is a Labrador/Akita mix and he is absolutely stunning, I am gutted to be getting rid of shadow but as I have two toddlers and have broke up with my partner I am unable to walk him due to having my children 24/7, shadow is an active dog and this is unfair to him. He comes with several leads and collars, a relatively new bed and a food bowl if needed. It has been an absolute delight having shadow and I really am gutted to see him go but think it’s best he can go to a family with the time for him that he deserves because he is so loving, caring and loyal. He has been microchipped, fully up to date with vaccinations and comes with all paperwork.

Before you adopt

  1. Think long termMany pets live for well over a decade: think about costs, moves, children and holidays.
  2. Meet the petMeet at least once, ideally twice, and see how they respond to you and your household.
  3. Ask about health and behaviourKnown conditions, medication, training and history: good rehomers will be open.
  4. Understand the processAsk how the rescue or owner rehomes: enquiry, meeting, home check where applicable, agreement.
  5. Allow time to settleMost pets take days to weeks to settle. Plan a calm first fortnight.
  6. Don't rushA good rehomer wants the right home, not the fastest one. Never send money before you have met the pet.
