Jasper needs a new home

Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances we are no longer able to keep our dog Jasper and are looking for a loving home for him. We are very sad to see him go to a new home but feel it’s what is best for him.

Jasper is a Shih-poo The Shih-poo is a small domestic dog. It is a crossbreed between a Poodle and a Shih Tzu. The name Shih-poo is a portmanteau of the two breed names.

* He is four years old, born 20th October 2015

* His colour is called Brindle a mixture of grey and black

* Jasper needs his coat Cut every 12 weeks and likes to be a bit of a drama queen for attention and gets very anxious and sometimes has to be sedated by a vet to have his coat cut and obviously this bares an expense to his new owner if this happens.

* He is quite territorial of his home and gets anxious around strangers. But if people ignore him initially he will calm down and in time will settle in. He just gets super excited!

* He has been living with my self and my partner and visited by our granddaughter but does not live in a house with children and think he would be better suited to a couple perhaps.

* Jasper needs boundaries but can be a very loving dog once he knows you.

* As of yet he has not been castrated so potentially could be bred.

* He eats sachets of meat in gravy and half a pot of biscuits mixed in twice a day. Also treats during the day! (Included)

* He sleeps in a crate at night with a blanket covering the front as he likes it like that and sleeps so well at night.

* He’s never been afraid of fireworks.

* Loves long walks in woodland or grassy areas.

* Loves to play and rumble!

* He’s never been unwell and does not have any health conditions as of yet.

*No papers.

Jasper really could make a great companion with some good training and good boundaries and hope that he will fine a caring but firm kind owner preferably without children because he isn’t used to a busy lively household.

No money wanted as we just want him to have the right home and owner! Comes with everything needed!

Thank you
