Cats Protection - Luton, Dunstable & District

The Luton, Dunstable & District branch of Cats Protection operates from a network of volunteer fosterers throughout the area. Their aim to help as many unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens as possible by rehabilitating and re-homing to permanent, loving new homes throughout South Bedfordshire. But, the work of the volunteers doesn’t stop there - they also take on many other roles and activities in order to support Cats Protection, including raising awareness and funds at various events during rain or shine!

Cats Protection seek to alleviate the problem of unwanted cats, by offering information and advice about responsible cat ownership. They assist families on low incomes with the cost of neutering, seeing it as the only effective long term solution to reduce the number of unwanted cats of the future.

It costs a lot of money each day to keep a cat at a foster home, in addition to all the basics such as food, litter, heating; Cats Protection pay for all the medical bills, plus the flea treatments, blood tests when necessary, neutering, micro-chipping, and vaccinations, amongst other things. This is why the charity relies so heavily on the kindness and generosity of the local people.

Luton Cats Protection strive to ensure all their cats are healthy and happy! If you think you could support their hard work, or would like to adopt a kitten or cat, then get in touch!
