About Us

Helping local animals for over 60 years, cat and dog rescue

The RSPCA Essex, Havering & Harold Hill Branch is, like all RSPCA branches, an independent charity. As such are financially self-supporting – in other words it has to raise the funds it needs to support its animal welfare activities The support of the community is vital to the survival of the animal centre and the continuance of its work. The rescue rely heavily upon the generosity of individuals, companies and groups to enable them to provide the care and support needed for local animals. The Branch covers an area from Havering to Grays to Basildon. Although we they do offer assistance and rehome our animals to all other areas. The Branch is run and staffed entirely by volunteers. The two main activity of the Branch is offering welfare assisted veterinary care through our Campbell Clinic and finding new and loving homes for the animals that come into care via the RSPCA Inspectorate as a result of abandonment, neglect or abuse. All of the dogs and puppies are boarded at a local kennels in Essex, and  cats and kittens are held in foster care.
