Pet Description

Lovely handsome boy Herbie is in foster with Auntie Lauren and is living with 4 other dogs. and he gets on fantastically with them all. He needs to live with at least one other dog. so if you are looking for a furry companion to complete your pack look no further. Herbie is a Collie X.. He is not a big dog. weighing around 19kg. This handsome boy is an active and intelligent dog. he is house trained and gets on really well with people and older children. Herbie has come so far since he came over in September. and would make a family with teenagers or older a wonderful pet. He needs an experienced owner who is used to training dogs... He is lead trained. and pulls if you let him. but walks beautifully with a figure of 8 lead.. He loves his walks on and off lead but needs training on his recall which is being worked on but needs to be continued.. He was taken from the kill pound in Romania by Lauren and Vicki on our team. and almost died as the butchers in the pound didn..t anaesthetise him when they castrated him if you can imagine anything so painful. He lives with cats. but is not good with them so therefore needs a cat free home. Herbie is neutered. vaccinated. microchipped. wormed. deflead and has a passport.
